Boosie pleaded guilty saying that the decision was in his personal best interest. However it was noted that he may be doing a lot less than that time…Good behavior is the savior of prisoners. With it they can get out early and it is being said that is what kind of deal Boosie and his legal team have worked out. Word is that Boosie may only be doing about 6 months and then credited with good behavior and see an early release followed by probation. Lil Boosie Considered A Suspect In The Killing Of Baton Rouge Rapper (Nussie)

On last week, hip hop artist Lil Boosie born Torrance Hatch was released from jail after posting a bail of $400,000. As previously reported, the rapper was jailed for allegedly assaulting someone at his Louisiana home which resulted in the rapper being arrested and detained in custody. Lil Boosie was accused of assaulting a man whom he accused of stealing his jewelry which resulted in Lil Boosie allegedly smashing the victim with a vase during a fight.

The rapper was arrested and taken in to custody more than a week later and charged with second degree battery.

Since being released, HipHopRX.com has learned that Lil Boosie has been named a possible suspect in the murder of Baton Rouge rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson who was killed in February.

Reportedly, FBI agent Antony Jung testified that the FBI had received information that Baton Rouge rapper and Trill recording artist, Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch may have played a role in the February shooting of Chris “Nussie” Jackson.

Reportedly, Jung stated that the bureau received information that rapper Lil Boosie (Hatch) had placed a $30,000 bounty on Chris “Nussie” Jackson’s head.

Meanwhile, Trill Entertainment managers Melvin Vernell Jr., of Baton Rouge, and Marcus Roach, of Prairieville, are currently being held in East Baton Rouge Parish Jail in connection with the shooting and attempted murder of rapper Bruce “Beelow” Moore which dates back to July 4, 2005.

District Judge Mike Erwin is expected to make his decision Monday as to whether the two are entitled to bond.

Prosecutors are trying to keep the two managers held in jail until they are tried on all charges, claiming that the two are a threat to witnesses and flight risks.

When the two were initially arrested in 2005 for the shooting of Moore, they were charged with attempted second-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of weapons. The two were released on $50,000 bond and the case was dropped one year later.

In May 8, 2009, prosecutors filed a new bill against the two charging them with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, aggravated battery, armed robbery, aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of an illegal firearm by a convicted felon, all in connection with the shooting of Moore who survived being shot twice in the face in front of his own business, Shop Smart Music and Fashion.

The defense attorneys plan to fight the prosecutors against blocking Vernell and Roach’s bail citing that the Trill Entertainment managers are “no threat to the community” and are respectable businessmen.

When it comes time for Eminem to release an album, he always sticks to his tried-and-true formula. The first singles are comical celebrity takedowns, featuring Em's revved-up Slim Shady persona on a track produced by Dr. Dre (think "My Name Is," "Without Me" and "The Real Slim Shady").On "We Made You," however, the lead single from Relapse, another beatsmith set the foundation for Eminem's return: Connecticut producer Doc Ish.The Hartford native has worked with some of the underground's finest rappers, from AZ to Talib Kweli. But when he created the beat for "We Made You," he never imagined it would land in the hands of Marshall Mathers. He originally shopped the record — with the same hook, sung by Charmagne Tripp — to Red Café, before D12 member Bizarre picked it up.But after writing his own version of "We Made You," Bizarre called Doc Ish with news that Eminem wanted the record. Because Bizarre is such a jokester, though, Doc didn't believe him. So he hung up on him."He called me at a bad time, so when he was like, 'Marshall wants the record,' I was like, 'Yeah, right,' " Doc told MTV News. "He was like, 'No, seriously, I'm not playing.' And Bizarre is a comical dude, so it's hard to know if he's playing or not. I didn't have time that day; I was busy mixing a record for Saigon. So I basically hung up on him. So he called me back with his cousin, Gambino, from Hartford, and he's who I know Biz through. And [Gambino] was like, 'Ish, he's for real, he's not playing.' In 2004, the producer, who suffers from lupus, endured heart problems that he struggled with into the beginning of last year. Once he finally got a grasp on things, Doc — a former rapper, who had to give up rhyming because of a lack of breath control from his condition — turned to producing with fervor. He still remains a part of his group, the Abnormals, consisting of Apollo Swyf, Colloso and Belly. But nowadays, he keeps his rhymes limited to short bursts.In the meantime, Doc is working on a compilation album, Arbitration, that he hopes to release later this year. He's negotiating a deal for the project, which includes tracks with Sean Price, Kool G Rap and Bizarre.He also, of course, hopes to land a track on Eminem's Relapse follow-up, due later this year.

Producers Play-N-Skillz to sue Lil Wayne

Play-N-Skillz don't want to sue the biggest rapper on Earth, but they have yet to receive any monies for their work on Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter III.'

Play-N-Skillz produced "Got Money," which was the third official single from Lil Wayne'sacclaimed sixth studio album.The song featured T-Pain and peaked at No. 4 on the iTunes Top 100 and No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"We haven't gotten any compensation. We really didn't want to speak on anything like that, just because of our relationship with Pain and Wayne. We're more thankful for the opportunity to be on 'Tha Carter III,' but business is business at the end of the day," Skillz said at Sha Money XL's One Stop Shop producers conference over this past weekend.

Skillz, one half of the production hit squad, continued, "now it is coming to where we have to put our business hat on. We had the producer and the creative hat on, but now we wanna know what's going on."

"Got Money" was originally for Pitbull's album, Play said, but it was submitted a mere two days too late for inclusion on theMiami artist's album.

"So, by the time he sent it back, T-Pain was on the hook. T-Pain had made it happen," Play continued. "This just goes to show, where technology is going,” Skillz explained. “We had never even met Wayne. He's in there and with us being from the South, we had seen him here and there, but that was the first time we had actually worked with him. But we didn't actually go into the studio and work with him. Everything was third person."

The song made the rounds and soon there was talk that the song could be going to the next level.

"Pain's people reached out to us and they said there was a big rapper that wanted to rap on it. We wanted to know who the hell it was,” Play continued. “They said it was Wayne, they sent the files back, we changed the music on it, rearranged it and the rest is history."

How the future plays out is unclear, but both Play and Skillz want to resolve things amicably so that all parties can continue to make music.

"We think the legal issues will be taken care of. It might not even be on his radar. A lot of people fail to realize, the artist might not even know. I'm sure that Wayne doesn't even know or Pain doesn't even know," Skillz said. "It could be Universal Records, but somebody has to come with it. Give us our change, man...we need that. We got expensive tastes, baby. We're going to continue to work and hopefully it doesn't tarnish the relationship,” Play said. “But, if you don't handle your business, nothing you do makes sense anyway."

In related news, Play-N-Skillz are going to continue to work on music, but will also return to their rap craft as well.

Rick Ross Caught Wearing Fake Louis Vuitton Glasses on XXL Magazine

New York, NY – As of late, it seems as though the Boss, Ricky Ross, has been getting a majority of grief from the media since his public feud with 50 Cent occurred some time ago. And even after the situation with the CO allegations died down, Ross still can’t seem get a break. Within the recent media exposé, Ross was featured on the cover of the May issue ofXXL Magazine, in light of his chart topper ‘Deeper Than Rap.’ Apparently, that honor fell short of an applaud as attention arose over the cover of the issue due to a certain wardrobe item.

That wardrobe item in question is apparently the shades that Ross just so happens to be wearing in plain view. The cover exhibits a zoomed in high quality photo of Ross’ face showcasing the emblem and the style of the Louis Vuitton shades. According to the prestigious company, the sunglasses are in fact counterfeits and they were blatant in pointing them out to the editors as well as the fans.

Here is the actual letter sent to the editors of XXL concerning the May 2009 cover:

Dear Editor:

We were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks. Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points.

The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.

Gucci Mane Signs With Warner Brothers And Off OF Big Cat Records

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has confirmed his signing of a new recording contract with Warner Bros. Records.

The move effectively ends Gucci’s long-standing professional relationship with Big Cat Records.

Yesterday (May 12), the independent label released Murder Was the Case, a collection of songs Gucci Mane recorded before 2007, including “Stoopid” and “Runnin-Back Gittin Fat.”

Although Gucci is grateful for the support his previous label provided during his 2005 murder acquittal and 2006 incarceration, the trap rapper made it clear that he does not endorse the Big Cat project nor considers it an official LP.

"I am no longer signed to, booked by, or working with Big Cat Records or any of its employees in any way,” Gucci Mane told AllHipHop.com in a prepared statement. “The CD that Big Cat is putting out consists of records that were never planned to make my album and is a non-official release. My fans will get the official Gucci Mane album in August on Warner Bros. Records.”

Gucci’s first album was the independent hit Trap House, which was powered by the Young Jeezy collaboration “Icy.”

The song proved so popular that both rappers briefly feuded over ownership of the track.

Gucci continued on with 2006’s Hard to Kill, and 2007’s Back to the TrapHouse.

In the last two years, he has remained a draw due to a prodigious amount of mixtapes, such as The Movie ( DJ Drama), Wilt Chamberlain (DJ Rell), Trap Happy, Boldercrest Shawty (DJ Rell), Bird Money, and many others.

At press time, Gucci Mane is finalizing his summer album, and will appear on an upcoming of XXL magazine cover.

After nude photographs allegedly depicting music star Rihanna hit the Internet today, the singer's representatives are fighting back, according to TMZ. The legal department at Rihanna's record label, Island Def Jam, has apparently sent a letter to a website that posted the pictures, demanding that they be taken down. It is not clear that Rihanna is the person featured in the nude photographs, although she is visible in two clothed pictures, and TMZ reports that the letter also doesn't make it clear if Rihanna is, in fact, the subject of the nude images.

Torrence Hatch (born November 14, 1983) known by his stage name Lil Boosie, is an American rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Lil Boosie teamed up with Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc and his Concentration Camp in the late 1990s and made his debut on C-Loc's fifth album, It's a Gamble. Shortly afterwards, Boosie released his debut album For My Thugz in 2003.

Boosie joined growing record label Trill Entertainment which was backed by the late Pimp C of UGK. Soon after, Trill independently released the album For My Thugz. Later, in the summer of 2003, Boosie teamed with label mate Webbie, on the albums Ghetto Stories and Gangsta Musik.

Lil Boosie Arrested After Fighting For His Chain!!

According to Baton Rouges local television station WAFB, Boosie and an unidentified
man got into an argument concerning one of Boosies necklaces, in which he accused
the man of stealing. After a scuffle, police believe the man was then hit with a vase;
he sustained minor injuries as a result. Boosie is being formally charged with second
degree battery.

I'm suing the sherrifs office, Boosie said, as local police took him in for booking.
They been in my house stealing.

This is not the first time the Louisiana rapper has ran into the law, as last October
Lil Boosie was arrested on possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.
In that incident, he resisted arrest.

Despite some recent legal troubles, the Trill Entertainment star had recently put
himself in the good graces of his neighborhood after donating dozens of bikes
to underprivileged children for his annual "Lil Ivy's Easter Bash."
